Going to the Moon!

We're going to the moon, yes, we're going to the moon!
And we're gonna get there any day,
We got very deep pockets and a really big rocket,
Ain't nothin' gonna get in our way.

We're gonna blast off soon at just around about noon,
And we'll give it everything we've got,
We're going to the moon, yes, we're going to the moon!
Oh, wait a minute, we're not.

There's a tiny fuel leak and so it might be a week,
Or potentially a month or two,
But we'll get to the moon no later than next June,
Which is what I hear we plan to do.

It's shame to lampoon people shooting for the moon,
But you might as well get on with it,
And if you enjoyed a little bit of schadenfreude,
It's a lot of fun I must admit.
