yeah, was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title too :) Playing on the strat on this one. Been trying to get used to it :)

Just a cheap Japanese one... for now.. trying to work a deal on a 1954 Telecaster then the strat will go to the corner :)

nice... I have an old dan electro, but have not tried to date it yet. Was a gift, so just treasure it and bring it out once in a while. Still trying to find out more on the tele... money is tight, so want to make sure it is a good investment. if it is american, I think I will be all in on it :)

To the best of my knowledge, they were all American at that time. Pre CBS as well, I think.

update: didn't get the tele.. seems he had changed the neck, pick up and some hardware, so was a custom job that did not warrant the money he was asking.. but someday I will get me one :)
