I finally got some got my kit mic'd up, so i decided to re-record one of my favorite wikiloops tracks!
In this I'm using a Shure SM57 snare mic, a pair of Rhode NT5 overheads and an Audix D6 kick drum mic.
Let me know what you think!

The sound stills a little be flat. The HiHat shines well
It's the beginning and I believe in you, you will learn quickly and maybe spent some time on editing room for the next step... :)
And thanks for the track Joe +1

I think that recording acoustic drums is an art of sound engineering, for my ear it sounds a bit flat, without punch, but the line of drums is excellent.
I think I read a post by Martin (mpointon) where he talks about how to record the drums, and Martin gets some tracks that many professionals would envy ;) +1
