Good Thing
Wow was this a tough one, made tougher by WD's excellent add! I spent a good hour wandering around ideas until finally settling on what I played. I wanted grace and subtlety. The main battle was those sparse chords - I just didn't like playing a backbeat through it as I thought it too unsubtle!
In the end went for a half-time feel, introducing a syncopated snare on the other part. I played trad grip to get those Gadd-style one-handed rolls ...

Grace and sublety was your goal? Accomplished i would say!
Love your approach on the yellow parts and the way you build the groove in the whole song! The tick on the solopart gives a lot of extra tension that is greatsounding! Great work that i enjoyed a lot! 👍👏 +1
