been using ernie ball heavy bottom skinny top strings. top string is a 10. i probably need tension adjustment as it waivers out of tune.

i've tried 11s in the past and didn't care for them, too thick for me, but damn, heavy and dark sounding haha

OK...thanks for the tip:W I normally have 8's on all my guitars for my wimpy fingers...LOL. They are like spaghetti noodles tuned that low:(

haha, i haven't tried 8s, i bet they are great for bending? my usual is 9s, with the drop C being that ernie ball heavy top skinny bottom. do you stick with a particular brand? i usually jump around, but mostly it's ernie ball.

I have really settled on DR Strings both for my electric and acoustic guitars and also my basses, I really like them. They really stay in tune and never seem to break.
