Hah, your test jams are better than most people's carefully considered compositions. This has a lovely sweetness and would definitely make the basis of a nice ballad.

thanks for the tip on that Ron, sprayed the electronics today. probably need to do it bit more, but the scratchy-ness is almost gone :)

Which guitar? I learned a new trick for guitars with pick guards covering the electronics like Strats & Telecasters. They get a static electric build up that causes a crackly sound. Rub a clothes dryer sheet on your pick guard and it fixes the problem. No need to open it up, just buff the pick guard a bit and the crackle goes away. I have to do it to my Tele every now & then.

i sprayed my Strat (the pink lady) and my Harley Benton (the black pearl) haha. i have to call them by their names for some reason lol! i didn't pop off the knobs on the volume adjusters, should i do that? i'm still detecting a bit of fuzz when dialing down the volume.

No, you need to get the spray inside the pot then twist the control back & forth several times to work it in then spray it again to flush it out. This is where you spray it. Use the little straw that comes with the spray to get it inside the opening by the pot's terminal board. You don't spray the outside, just in that opening so it gets inside.

Gotta get right up in it. I would give it a little more than that guy did too. Short blast or two then work the pot back & forth a bunch of times and spray it again to wash it out. That should do it.
