Imagine being right-handed
And had to apologize.
Or having all your limbs intact
And you had wear a disguise.

That's what's like for those of us
Who are different from the way you live.
Coming into the world with trust
With just ourselves to give.

Imagine being born in a body
That seems so foreign to you.
Forced to wear a pretty dress
When dungarees would do.

Or how about having to curl your hair
And wear some make up too.
When you'd rather simply get up
And just let your hair do what it wants to do.

Imagine being told as kids
That you would have to marry.
And being forced to date a girl
When you were more inclined toward Harry.

That's what's like for those of us
