Contrast Too
What a contrast indeed from Marceys! Couldn't resist slamming a beat to this.
It's pretty obvious what to play to this kind of thing. For this track, I did the rarest of things: used my Pearl 13x3 brass piccolo snare drum instead of my more usual-sized snares. This drum is all bark and no bite - perfect for a dance track like this.

Thanks, Tof. I was already doing some loops when this cropped up, so downloaded and off I went!

There's the beat! Great again Martin and you are very quick! I just uploaded it :) Your right about this kind of tracks, it is usually covered with sequencing rhythtms and sounds! I played it realtime :) only with effects on the sound ofcourse! Now it needs a grooving dance-bass! 😎 The piccolo sounds great!

Thanks, Marc. I should use the snare more often! I've tried to establish the 'basic beat' and hope others will add to it to give it the real techno punch it deserves.
