Ich sprach: wer warnt mich in der Not der Stunde? -
Und Er: das Licht erstrahlt zur rechten Zeit.
Ich sprach: wie komm ich zu so hohem Bunde? -
Und jener: frage nicht. Sei nur bereit.

Kennst du den Traum, der uns von je beirrte? -
Ich weiss, ihr seid von Lockung hart bedrängt.
Verdient nicht Tod, wer allzu niedrig irrte? -
Die Himmelsliebe richtet nicht, sie schenkt.

Warum die Angst endlos? Warum das Grauen? -
Endlos in Wahrheit einzig ist das Licht.
Wenn ich dir folge, werd ich es erschauen? -
Schon liegt sein Glanz auf deinem Angesicht.

So trag ich schon das Licht in meinem Leben? -
Im Kern, den du mit Traumgewirk umsponnst.
Nichts muss ich tun, als nur die Hände heben? -
Was sonst als nur dies Eine! Was denn sonst? -
