I had this reported to me on PM as well, upload not working in the band place, same message.

In one reported case, cookies delete did the trick...

I have the same problem, been trying to upload a template since yesterday, tried several times but doesn't work at all!

hmmm. As I reported via the shoutbox - my test this morning (a 70+ MB wav file) went just fine, so there seems to be some user side issue here.
Please try the following:
Instead of uploading a wav file, try uploading an mp3, if that works flawlessly, then that would point towards an issue with the file conversion server.
If that wont help, please open the browser logging console by pressing F12 on windows BEFORE visiting the upload page, and look out for any red printed messages that might pop up in the console, it does report some in-between status messages there - these would help me loads to figure out where things are getting stuck.
Only red printed stuff is of interest, the rest can be ignored.

Thanks for your reply. I tried once more with a wav file and it didn't work. Then I uploaded an mp3 file instead of the wav, and it worked.
