Very cool Ron ... I have to go back even further to the original format where they are all playing Mosrite instruments. I like how the bass cuts through, even back then with the pick and the Mosrite tone. Seems surreal now with the black and white footage.

Yeah man that is a great and pleasant tune. My older guitar playing brother who is in his 70's grew up playing a lot of the Venture's tunes ... and got me to learn a lot of the bass lines when I was first getting into bass, this one included (memories) Walk, don't run!! (at the start of the vid) hehe... nice Gary! :)

Tony MacAlpine has been among the long time favorites I listen and learn from.Tony is joined by Jeff Loomis for an amazing jam. Hate to disturb the funk and jive always people. But you did ask what are you listening to. lol:W

Hank Marvin was the first musician in the UK to play a Stratocaster and was the inspiration for later brit rock icons to add it to their collection of guitars. So good to see and hear the awesome sound he got out of it on this great version of Going Home....

Grimy, nasty death metal, but where most of this style feels pretty disposable to me, I keep coming back to this album. Kinda catchy and some pretty interesting changes.

I watch and listen often Ohm. I like that style very much and this guys are amazing musicians. Unfortunately Nick Menza was dying in May 2016 during a concert with Ohm. Very dramatic, he was just 51, very sad.

A sax / accordion duo. A style not really classifiable, but the escape and the beautiful play are there.

Man, I was going to post one of those videos with Nick Menza! I love OHM:, great band! Chris Poland is a monster on the guitar, one of the best electric guitarists. Another one from them :
