The bass lines at the start of this 'old' song are great (simple but h1t the spot and drive the song along). There are some truly great African bass players.

What can you say about Nick Harper? Famous dad, stage comedian, genuinely jaw dropping guitar player; takes a while to really get into his lyrics and vocal delivery because good things don't come cheap but, when you do, get ready for the waves of pleasure. I was half way through watching this excellent 1 1/2 hour documentary when I thought of you lot and how much you would enjoy it.

Amazing!

It's wonderful with so many keeping Fela's music alive 40-50 years later, a truly inspirational man in every aspect of his life. If there can be anyone unfamiliar with Fela Kuti, I warmly recommend a week on YouTube taking in the man and his music. Here's another.<3
