Biografia

Been playing bass and writing songs on and off, (probably more of than on), for 40 years. Love music and having retired, I'm spending more time writing songs. Pretty rusty player, limited rhythm guitar ability as well. I record my own vocals, with passable results. I can't commit to playing in bands, but spend countless night time hours writing and recording songs. Mostly laid back and retrospective.
I listen to all sorts of music. Like reggae, love anything with a back beat, '70's rock. Regularly saw Santana, Tull, Quo, Family, BE BOP DELUXE, Steve Hillage, Dire Straits. Also Kate Bush and Toots and the Maytals.
I have a basic home recording setup, and limited ability, ( my head is more musical than my hands), but if I need to record something, I just learn the hell out of it.
