Wonderful track from jamlady. Played on a bandoneon build in 1898 in Bremen with only 100 tones (instead of 142 tones of a tango bandoneon) and with only one reed per tone (instead of 2 reeds in octave tuning). Thinking about this and listening to the track - maybe it sounds a little bit like a melodica but not so plastic :-)

bleymehl Thank you. It's really absolutely fascinating to think about the history of such an old instrument. The bandoneon was a simple mans instrument. The first owner surely played simple folk-songs. It was the time of Americas WWW (wild wild west) AND NO INTERNET ;-( +3

bleymehl Hi Lothar, there exist an free app for iPhone (doesn't an app exist for everything?) called jamn player, which you feed with your songs and it thanks you with the chords...

This lovely app tells me, that the song is in A minor and uses the following chords Am, G, F, C, A

It also shows the chords when playing the song...

Hope, this helps.
