My thoughts about this:
If you upload anything you want to become more that just a random jam use the markers to identify the song structure, use color codes and meaningful names like "intro", "verse", "chorus", "solo" etc.
Note down the chords with the markers! It's very helpful, especially if you play rootless chords. As a bass player it's really hard to figure out a good bassline if neither root notes nor chord charts are available. Imagine you only have a click track and a chord chart and listen to the track in the background. This helps other musicians to find themselves in the song structure. And use multiple lines if that helps.
