Hey folks,
after having a little trouble reproducing this bug (I was still logged in in the app, and you can't log out once you are logged in...) I believe I've managed to fix the login issue -
you shouldn't be prompted for password entering more than once when using the app, it remembers your credentials and performs some sort of auto-log in from there on.
I believe it works as it used to now, please let me know if there are any troubles I may have missed. This fix is rather temporary, I really need to get around updating that app properly sometime.
Now, once we are talking about the app for android devices, and in case someone stumbles in on this thread:
The state of the wikiloops app is as follows:
The most recent version of the wikiloops app is version 2.1, which used to be available thru the official google play store.
As you'll be able to guess after me using past tense here, it currently is not listed on the google play store any longer.
Why is that?
Because the play store changed some policies last summer which our nice little app from 2016 didn't meet, and -sad but true- I haven't found the time to work up to their expectations...
BUT, if you really like to AND are a wikiloops member, you may still download & install the app straight off of wikiloops and install it manually on your android device.
Of course your device will throw some alert messages along the lines of "are you really, really sure you'd like to install something that is not from google play store?", but if you boldly confirm your wish, you'll get it to work.
Here's the current download page on wikiloops to grab it:
https://www.wikiloops.com/droidapp.php
Hope it'll be of use to some, it's one of the very few apps I use on a dayly basis myself :)

Hi Sir!
It's fixed for me. I did not reinstalled it again and suddenly fixed. There is still some small issues but nothing serious. For instance. I can't not access the second page of this thread (so I'm doing that from my desktop). Many thanks for your prompt reaction. This app is aboslutely great!
Btw, for your information. When I launch the app on my phone, I first arrive on a page I'm not supposed to (/* Custom JS Richard Kaiser for wikiloops.com (c) 2016 - bismillah i rahman i rahim*/ .. ) and then the entire JS script is displayed
KR,
Sacha
