i personally slap out an invite to listen on the shoutbox every time i upload... i never thought of it as "self promotion" but more in the spirit of wanting to share the excitement i get every time i upload something i have contributed to! sorry if this seems like I've got some sort of super ego to be massaged, but i haven't. ...nearly everyone i work with is a better musician than me, and i'm in constant awe of the fact that i get to play with these guys, so as i say forgive me for getting over exited, but don't think of it as self promotion.
