How blessed I am to have been able to collaborate with the individuals on this album! :) The joy in my life has only been increased by happening upon wikiloops ~one fateful day~, searching for jazz backing tracks on google... Here is a collection of some of my favorite jams and by no means is it all of my favorite jams... Just a handful, as publishing a small collection seems the logical thing to do at this point in my journey. Many thanks to all who listen and to all who've participated. I hope you can take away something positive from these creations and if nothing else, know that you are loved! With love, moonchild <3

In this broad showcase of wide-ranging musical styles Moonchild shows her flexibility and creativity. Her prodigious songwriting talent is matched by her passion-filled and wonderfully musical performances — they’re ‘A Whole Lot of Fun’, but are always ‘A Song From the Heart’. The topics she covers seem autobiographical, but throughout there is a strong provocation for the listeners to make ourselves, and thus the world, a better place: to grow in compassion, to keep reaching greater heights, to see the beauty inside, to join, unite, and dare to love everyone now. The title ‘Blessings Abound’ is a great description of this album, and of the exuberant and generous spirit of the artist.

It is a blessing of destiny to be able to play in the jams with a singer like you, this album is a great sample of the creativity of MoonChild with his voice and lyrics, an honor and a gift of destiny is part of his virtual bands in this album
