schon in der Schulzeit,
wo alle Weichen gestellt werden,
war ich nicht bereit,
täglich hinzugehen, es gab Beschwerden

ich blieb dem Unterricht fern,
mich interessierten mehr so Sachen vom anderen Stern

in Kunst und Mathematik,
begriff ich mehr als die Grundlagen
für Englisch und Physik
war ich dagegen nicht zu haben

einige fanden mich seltsam, aber lieb,
ich blieb lieber zuhaus und hörte seltsame Musik

jeder liess mich spüren, dass ich anders bin,
für skurrile Dinge fehlte ihnen der Sinn,
doch ich ging meinen Weg,
weil er mir zusteht

einige finden,
meine Welt ist klein, aber mir ist das recht
was soll ich mich schinden,
damit ich den gemeinen Erwartungen entsprech ?

ich geh weiter meinen Weg,
einfach darum, weil`s nicht anders geht

I understood more than the basics

My world is small, but I feel in comon
What for what should I flay,
