Straight to dub remix! It's always the simplest ones that are hardest - took me ages to get a sound and feel I liked on this. Still not entirely happy to be honest but probably as good as it's going to get :)

Actually it's my Kala but played with a kind of light slap/pluck technique. You get loads of 'clack' on the attack and almost no note at all! And then of course I compressed it and gave it a touch of flanger for some colour. Does that make me sound like a bass geek? Honestly it's all a bit random - I just twiddle knobs until it sounds good! :) +1
