walking down the street
left the house, left my lover
my baggage is full of what I need
and I carry a blanket to cover

show me the way, cloud in the sky
don´t lead me down the garden path
give me direction, I need a sign
a place of home somehow .. at last

cars pass by, they have a goal
driving fast, driving slow
I do not know where to go
and the sun stands low
