KMstar there are a few different mp3 settings. I ran into this problem with Haffast, arkrock and now you. its a bitrate issue that my DAW won't read I believe, I am not sure what the optimum rate my Daw likes I will have to look +1

BuzzBomber I get this error sometimes too. and not just on Stella's tracks! It sometimes matters if i have a session (in a bit rate) open already, then some new file may not match. Then i just open them independently, and convert them to my fave (format 44100 16b wav - your taste may vary) +1

BuzzBomber Prolly right - I save for WL at 320 44100 hz 4:4:1 mp3 . I rightclicked and did properties on Stella's track, DLed on my machine. it sez 128kbps, but that may be different than the 3:20 you described. I was able to convert S's file using (Xilisoft) converter software i have, but my DAW won't open or interpret these files either. ??? weird +0

wjl KMstar, have you tried Audacity? Normally that would convert anything to anything. My DAW Ardour does it on the fly, but now I've also set it all to 44.1kHz which is used here (had it on 48kHz for videos before).
