This was a challenge. For the drums, the changes in rhythm shouted hip hop / drum n bass to me, while the other sections sounded like straight forward drum pattern. Dont be fooled, this is a clever piece from Stella! this wasnt easy! So I played two parts, and mixed them up. The drum n bass parts are inspired by a favourite drummer of mine called Johhny Rabb. I put a tambourine on it and had to mix it in ...

funny, I have a friend named Rainer who's birthday it is today, so I had to check this out.
Yeah, I can tell the trickyness you mention, and the drum&bass move does fit really well - tho one might have gone dancehall there, too, that's what I've probably tried.

pconey Thanks a lot Dick. The song title came from Stella and I think Rainer a reference to wiklooper R1772, whos called Rainer. Yes, the dnb was just my little interpretation, but as you say dancehall or other styles would sound good - Thats whats cool about Wikiloops, someone else may do something totally different! :)

The tambo was a kit tamborine, but had the right sound for this tune.
