Lloyd designed a dream machine until it was perfected
Started catching dreams the very night it was connected
Snagged in his array of parabolic dream recepters
Spectral tales of the mind found by his detector

He pointed his recepters at the neighbours down the street
He aimed at ivory towers and in cellars dug down deep
High up in the stratosphere wafted many more
Dreams of peaceful scenes and dreams of violent gore

All those crazy tales rose like bubbles from down under
The visions flashing in the crystals filled him up with wonder
Buried in an avalanche of every kind of story
Some were dead literal and others allegory
