You might have heard of my name before
I'm the ghost of Jesse James the outlaw
I'm here to get revenge for my people
my southern kinsmen whom they laid to waste

They say that I was just a bloody murderer
but they don't say when Sherman came in the Savannah Campaign
burning down the city of Georgia Atlanta scorched earth policy
raping women, killing old men, burning homesteads down
there was no mercy shown for the civilians then
my war was sacred a holy intifada
the winners always call the losers the enemy terrorists
but the truth is rarely known, it's rarely known
since those days they've never stopped harassing my kin
now I've returned and I'm stepping in with six guns blazing
they're gonna pay for their sins

I was raised in Little Dixie, Missouri
I joined the Bushwhackers Confederate Army
in the American Civil War after my parents home was destroyed by the North
I rode with William Quantrill and Bloody Bill Anderson yeah
after the war my brother Frank and me kept it going
robbing those those yankee banks and giving out the money to the poor and the helpless
yeah, but if you look it up on Wikipedia
they distort truth and promote the northern aggressors as the heroes
but let me tell ya that wasn't what happened

and I'm back again
with a vengeance
