What a fantastic chunk of disco from Tof and bvveen. I cannot resist a bit of grooving out and these two have given such a pro performance it's irresistible!
Went to town on the production a bit more than usual to dial in some real punch if possible. The playing is a pretty straightforward, four-on-the-floor pumping disco groove, swapping between just off-beats and off-beat open hi-hats. I mixed this slightly differently sending my overhead mix to a separate channel for compression ...

Biting the bottom lip? You'd be right there! I'm the 'gurning' drummer, I reckon. As for arriving 'just right' on the snare, I'm not so sure. You suggest I planned it but I just played the track and hit hard I'm afraid!
