Ah... you are so into this jazz groove with you new "tools"!!! I Love it!!!!! Keep creating with this new "Capability!!!!!! Man, This new tool has you looking at a different "jazz" approach with is WONDERFUL. Your other approaches are also GREAT and here you a in a traditional "free" Jazzer mode played by Greats like Coltrane, Sun Ra, Ornette Coleman and their rhythm sections. I know I am swayed by the sound of and instrument that decides my approach to playing and maybe the "sax" sound influenced you, and your "sax Ideas are Incredible!!!! No matter... It is GREAT and amplifies your Wonderful creativity!!!!! Man, I love the drums!!!! Are you playing the drums?? Can you post a HD track of the drums!!!! Incredible, Jim!!!! +1

GemmyF Yes I cut my jazz teeth on this style music--just couldn't play sax .... when I was at UT Texas there was a sax player who is GREAT - Joesph Marcione(think that's the spelling) and he would play in the art building late late late when everyone was supposed to be home sleeping --- I got to hear him many times from 1st floor while from the third floor where he was playing as his sax bounced all the way through the long and very high open hallway --- beautiful BEAUTIFUL ----- AND HE PLAYED IN THIS STYLE--- but yeah before that I was listening to Coleman, Turnitine, Coltrane, M Davis --- in Houston there was a station that only played jazz and I had a job that was indoors yet physical and I could listen to music loud --- and they hardly even played "Smooth" jazz it was all Free and Harder to really break into ---for the average listener...but being open to symphonic music as a kid --- I heard the connection and deepness in that style --- ONE ALBUM I REALLY Love is an album by Dave Scott(Trumpet) and Tony Malby(Sax) ---and the Drum and bass player on that album are just DOPE!!! Anyway I saw them in Corpus Christi at the State Jazz Festival. --and they didn't have the same drummer and bassist for the record --- TO me it made all the difference in the world how the Bass and drums kept these two crazy melodies jarring and intersecting --TOGETHER -- album cover here +0

Itocpogo THANKS, Jim for all of this!!!! I remember thinking when I was about 15 how great life was I was playing organized Jazz as leader of my High School big band and out of school I was playing Bebop and Free Jazz..... and the Greatness of going to jazz festivals and watching Legends players like Sonny Rollins, Stan Getz, Charles Loyd play!!!!! Then getting lucky playing in a jazz group when I was overseas in the Air Force in the late 1960's.I certainly did know then that I was in Heaven!!! Your You Tube posting are FANTASTIC!!!! So many GREAT players that we never heard of!!!! +1
