Is that you she cries, but her answers can't be heard
Another scream into the darkness
another reason for them laugh
another day
another dawn
another line on her wrists been drawn
another scar, the family pain, yet still she hasn't hit the vein.
To be betrayed, and left alone.
a padded cell she calls home.
The pointed finger, the casted stones.
The constant voices and broken bones.
They turn their back, she numbs the pain
this twisted cycle of a life in vain
They scream out loud... for what?
Look at her and wake up
Read what her scars have shown
Cutting to the bone
look at her and reach out
Its time that we help our own
You know if it was you
You would be begging for help too!
So why not extend a hand for those
Who are trying!
They're dying.... and yet we watch!

Her cuts are deep, shes losing faith.
Her lifeless body, a living wraith.
Inside her head, the voices play.
Her cries for help are cast away.
They turn their back, she numbs the pain
This time she hits the vein
She screams out loud... for what?
