First blow on new baritone sax...

This the first air passing through my new baritone sax.
Just a recoding to judge sound. Nothing worked out. Just used the D drone tone as guide to test intonation on both registers.
Option of saxophone players requested.
BTW: I will do a proper workout with more like on the remix the next days..

Yes, my first impression is good. Good mechanics, absolutely easy to blow (my 8 year son can't reach the right hand keys, but was able to blow the low-A without any problems with my helping right hand. With the palmkey register i'm still fighting. Need to play around with MPCs and reeds. For this record I used a Rico 2S. Intonations seems to be stable over each register with nearly same lipp pressure. The next I will do intensive jamming with sax - then we will know more ;-) (First time to play my sax sitting on a piano chair - with the sax on a small sandbag on the floor. Very relaxing way play...)

Ja, das Bari werde ich wohl behalten. Nach ein wenig Eingewöhnung klingt das richtig röhrig geil... jetzt muss ich nur richtige Kontrolle über den feinen Unterschied "Cello-like" und "röhrig-dreckig" in die Lippe bekommen.
