I worked on this music piece for a few days and I had the idea some time ago, I saw an exciting documentary about mass extinction about 250 million years ago, and thought, it needs music. It was caused by the so-called Siberian Trapp. A flood basalt field of gigantic dimensions. The estimated amount of basalt lava released is about one million to four million cubic kilometres. It was between 3 and 6 kilometres thick.
