She brushes her hair
as she looks in the mirror.
Once so fair,
the reflection, now, is silver.
Her eyes are blue
but sometimes there will be a shadow.
A different hue,
and another day tomorrow.
Catch the light,
reflections of the days gone by.

So far out of sight,
still trying to hold on.
Will she smile tonight
with another sweet day gone.

Her eyes are sad,
you can see the trace of tears that fell.
Remembering the time she had,
and the life she loved so well.
But that was long ago,
and these days always comes to mind.
Could she know
season second spring time.
