Vient un moment dans la vie,
Ou il faut s’arrêter
Et penser calmement à ce qui a vraiment de l’importance

Tous ces biens matériels que nous avons accumulés,
Toutes ces choses que nous avons désirées
À bien y penser ne sont que futilité.

Nous avons travaillé très fort pour les acquérir
En oubliant ce qui a réellement de la valeur,
Ce qui est vraiment important.

Nous avons négligé nos grand-parents,
Laissé pour compte conjoint, enfants et amis
Dans cette course effrénée à la consommation débridée.

Nous avons oublié que l’atteinte du bonheur
Ne s’achète pas, ne se monnaie pas,
Nous l’avons complètement oublié.

Voici ce qui est important :

Des gestes simples, faciles mais oubliés
Des rapports harmonieux
empreints d’humilité

Inspirer confiance,
Dire la vérité,
Ouvrir son cœur sans crainte d’être jugé

Un regard doux, un mot gentil,
Une caresse délicate,
Avec simplicité

Cultiver le respect
Aider et partager,
Avec humilité,

Dire son amour
L’accepter en retour
Avec simplicité

Voilà ce qui, pour moi est vraiment important

All these material goods that we have accumulated,

When I think, it's just futility.

We worked very hard to acquire them
Forgetting what is really valuable,
What is really important.

We neglected our grandparents,
Left behind spouse, children and friends
In this frantic race for unrestrained consumption.

We forgot that achieving happiness
Cannot be bought,
We completely forgot about it.

With humility

A delicate caress,
With simplicity
