But I'm sick and tired of all these damn insults

We got a place to stay at our hideaway
Where we can laugh and everything's OK

And we were dancing in the moonlight

But a ufo came and they took her away

They just beamed her up and now there’s hell to pay

But I could still see the ship so bright
It quickly flashed all of its alien lights
And I screamed just as it started to rise
It flew away right in front of my eyes

I hopped in her truck and I sped down to town
To tell everyone what had just gone down
What the hell was I gonna say?
A UFO came and took her away

I went to the cops and they laughed at me
Told me I was high on conspiracies
What the hell was I gonna do?
She’s on Mars for all I knew
Just a beautiful girl in an alien zoo

I called my Dad and he was like
Calm down Son you ain't thinking right
She must be playing a joke on you
Here’s exactly what you‘re gonna do

Go back to the lake and get some sleep
She'll get bored and want a bite to eat
You can act like you don’t even care
Act like you were never even scared

Hours went by and the sun rose
And sure enough I began to doze
What she went through no one will know
Just another case for the tv shows

Y’know I did all that I could do
She was gone and I was on the news
I think about her everyday
Her family thinks she ran away

I still go out to our hideaway
And once in a while I’ll look up and say
I hope you’re not in an alien zoo
