Had an idea for a short line using a synth preset in the hx stomp. Comes in around 1:38 Had a devil of a time trying to blend it in to the mix. Desired it to be in the background. Not real happy with my mix in but you get the idea. Thanks mates.

Mixing is always tough when you don't have individual stems for every instrument but honestly you did great! Your synth/guitar blend has just the right horror/thriller vibe - pitch bend really helps. It also has the John Carpenter feel, but never gets in the way of Chris's guitar, either (though I wouldn't have minded it being louder in the mix TBH). :D +2

FrankieJ Really a great track from you guys and I always enjoy trying to poke notes in between Tof's notes. He inspires me.
Agree with you in regard to having stems. Unfortunately I still struggle with mixing even when stems are available. I'm hearing impaired for several years.
Also agree it could be just a bit louder in the mix.

As an experiment today, I played the line without the synth effect and found it much easier to mix that way but the synth effect sounds cooler than straight guitar to me for the part. The preset does not give me the luxury of pitch bender btw :)
