For the bass rhythm part, I used a little compressor & 2 different chorus patches on top of each other - one i set w/ a bit of delay & the other adjusted so it ''rings'' a bit more..
On the soloing yet another chorus patch + a bit of echo ;)

i LOVE fiddling with effects but funnily enough if playing live i tend to just use a bit of compression & maybe a touch of chorus or a little delay if the song asks for it & that's it +1
