A sad Midnight Blues
A cool swinging slow blues with a foxy punch!!! Reminds me of the cool 1934 jam sessions in the 1996 movie "Kansas City". The jazz soundtrack sizzles, with performances by the likes of Joshua Redman, Craig Handy, Cyrus Chestnut, Kevin Mahogany, James Carter, and Geri Allen dressed like the "Masters" of that era playing numerous jam sessions. I watched it multiple times for the music and could never remember the plot. Nils so well captures that swing era so well!!! ...
