hartmut wow without a pick on the electric guitar, Mark Knopfler did and does this also if I am not wrong... More feeling/strings contact then below the fingers. I love this too. That's nice & inspiring. I should dust off the housing of my electric guitar and rebuild the equipment soon :) :D

PS: Who needs Chords Names when You have Chords as they were born already in mind? hehe ;) +1

Bradford I have only picked up the guitar here and there over the years but I always tended to skip using the pick. Being a trumpet player I never worked with chords directly. I've messed with some nylon more recently. +1

hartmut i think when doing some flamenco/gypsy acoustic guitar work, then a pick gets more interesting +1
