A shattered Life

A Very Stormy Night

The Wind and rain is howling over our heads
It sounds like it’s in a rage!

I can hear Milk bottles rattling
On our door step, shattering
sometimes even splattering!!
Our Cats ‘Still’ Napping!!

Though the Window flaps are flapping,
And the letter box is squeaking
Our Bedroom Roof is ‘still’ leaking

While I lay in my Empty bed weeping!!
The Cat Lays by the Fire Sleeping:


The wind and rain still howls above our heads,
While my two children lay in there beds,
Silently Sleeping,

Yet I still go on weeping,
While the cats still napping,
Window flaps still flapping.
The Letter Box Still squeaking,

My Bedroom Roof’s Still Leaking
Milk bottles Still splattering.
But Still My Life goes on Shattering!!!
