For the pleasure of sharing Here is a practical mixing work done with my 2 students in the studio. The goal I set was to make a track using free samples (Cymatic), setting a consistent tempo and tone. I was expecting a mix with a good distribution in 'low, medium and high' frequencies, with a work on panning and depth so that I can hear everything. The 2 apprentice sound engineers were on fire, knowing that they are 13 and 14 ...

ERWAN thanks Wade. Your words are a good summary of the first course that opens the workshop with teenagers. The best mixing plugin are brand new ears, they are more accurate than those of adults, so why they have to preserve them and stop listening to music on headphones at high volume. +1
