zedders Thank you! Your excellent template made it fun! I bumped into a video the other day, something like "How to make your vocal sound like a record". It went through all the standard EQ, reverb etc saying yes, helps but still not like a record. His answer was "compress the Sh*t out of them, more than you think, then do it again and hey, why not again too. Not 5db, compress it 20 db, 40dB, as much as the noise floor will tolerate - go mad! Then clip gain the breathing back down again. I think Shi already processes her vocals quite a bit so all was on top of that. I was pleased with how it came out. Always learning, I've got a bit better at it lately after years of terrible mixing but I've got a long way to go. :) +1
