I went to the doctor to have him check my sight.
I thought that when I went there, everything would be all right.
But he stood there and shook his head, he gave me such a fright.
Said it was the small print and I couldn’t see that well at night.

What’s this boomer gonna do?
It’ll probably happen to you.

And then I left my glasses in the room beyond the door.
And then I couldn't find them they had fallen on the floor.
So how am I to see them if they're hidden from my view.
Should've gotten contacts and then I could see you too.

What's this boomer gonna do?
Tell me has this happened to you.

I walked into the other room and forgot the reason why.
Was it to find a pencil or have a slice of pie?
I wasn't in the kitchen or the study with my tools.
I was outside on the patio overlooking the pool.

What's this boomer to do?
Are you forgetting things like I do?
