There’s an old tree
On the end of the road
One night the moon came
Brightened my path.

And then I noticed
an old wound on the side
Then I walked over
And closed my eyes

I touched it’s skin to begin with..
I layed my energy on it’s
small and delicate twigs

I never forget that day
when I put my violin away

In the heart of this tree
so my grandfather will never forget about me..

there’s a rumor
I’ve been told
And I don’t know if it is true
‘Cause it’s so old
But I remember what once was told
holds some truth, regardless of it’s lies
(rumor):
“You have to open up
You have to realise..
That whoever goes away from you
