Wade A good simple melody is (in my opinion) a high compliment. It's giving a melodic line that communicates clearly. Many of us (myself definitely included) try to play way too much when an uncluttered melodic line that captures the essence is the best thing we can play. Tunes like this aren't about showing off our technique. One note at a time melodies are easily digested and perfect. +1

BluesyLucille I totally get it, and I agree... What you say is simple, but it’s definitely the hardest thing to do, and we often end up showing off again. I’ll try to do it again, though I’m not sure I’ll succeed. +1
