GeoWaEng Perhaps some brilliant musicians simply didn't want to face such a massive live audience; making music in the studio with friends is one thing, but a huge crowd looking up at you, waiting to be entertained — that could well trigger panic in some shy musicians. I don't know if I could stay cool in a situation like that ;)
I saw the 'making of "We are the World", very interessting in this case :o +0
