Sitting well back and lending the appropriate atmosphere. The problems are minor when you can obviously hear the lines that work. Just a matter of practice to make the horn behave. Too many horn players learn to play "technically/changes" and have no idea how to play "musically". You've got a great ear and musical talent. +1
