Deceptive track, this one. Much harder than it sounds to do well, I feel. Tried to go for a laid-back shuffle/swing groove. This was the first recording of today with yet another mic arrangement on the kit. I've removed the hi-hat mic as the overheads seem to pick up plenty and use it instead to mic up the ride cymbal which always seems to get lost. I've only 8 inputs so can't do both and have two mics on the ...

mpointon Thanks, JM! I sat down and thought, 'yeah, no problem'. I was wrong. Really needs to swing and the drums stay out of the way. Excellent template! +1
