There's something appealingly and reassuringly 'Sweet Home Alabama' about this riff from Ake. Whilst I've played the song a million times in covers bands, I do still enjoy the song so thought I'd see if it'd like another lease of life. Even if it doesn't, I enjoyed playing to it. It's also an opportunity to test out some new mixing settings and techniques, particularly with the kick drum, to try and improve the punch of my drum sound. Enjoy.
