I've been chasing down a memory

The dawning of my day in the sun

Swore we'd never part
Forever locked together
Soulmates of the heart
Lonely is the price you pay
When true love comes undone
Leaves you longing for your day in the sun

Now the winter winds are blowing
In the fading of the light
The end of days is nearing
And my time has grown so tight
I'd trade my soul replacing
The eternity to come
And live once more my day in the sun
