MajorTom_III It's a great sounding guitar (Zager ZAD-80n).I only use D'Addario Phosphor Bronze Light Strings. I use a Shure SM58 mic up close to it and record through a presonus Inspire 1394 interface. I use Audacity recorder. I may increase the bass and turn down the treble and sometimes I'll add reverb. If there is hiss or clicks I run it through MAGIX video and audio sound cleaner +3
