This is Girard's second request for a template. The reference tune was 14 minutes long so I've paraphrased a lot of it into just some of the beats. Like the previous upload, it gets a little out of hand towards the end - just trying to be clever and not succeeding very well.

Didn't play this as cleanly as I'd like but I thinks it's good enough once some other adds join in. I think my right foot was on ...

WOW! Holy smokes! Another amazing run! Everything was working here OMG! The part around 2:55 to 3:00 or so!!! My goodness.

So YES this is a total and complete success, this drum run has all the right mojo and i'm super honored that you were willing to come up with this based on suggestions.

Again I do apologize for the complexity but you seem to understand it's a distillation we're after, not a carbon copy! GREAT top shelf work Martin, you are on fire! You will see some amazing jams from this. AMAZING. It's got the right gait and dramatic breakdowns for an unbelievable set of results! +2

mpointon As always, you're welcome, G :) I welcome the ideas and the complexity doesn't bother so much as the difficulty in listening to the reference track and then coming up with something that follows the same sort of themes. Especially with no tune to work with.

I just have to listen to the 'music voices' in my head whilst I record! :D +0
